Every individuals have different characteristic and behaviour towards eating. The purpose we eat because it provides and generate energy to our body. Food also provide a range of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, water, fat, carbohydrates, fibre, and protein. Majority of people nowadays are eating unhealthily, they did not follow the proper diets which can cause malnutrition’s and insufficient energy to the body. Eating in a healthier way; individuals are able to categorize their eating habits to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a result, it provides great nourishment to our body.
In total there are 4 different types of eating habits such as fuel eating, joy eating, fog eating and storm eating. Fuel eating – provides nutrients that include foods like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats. Joy eating – food that a person eat which tastes good like cup cakes, cookies and candy. Fog eating – not conscious when eating such as eating potato chips while watching movie until it’s finish. Storm eating – individuals can’t stop eating and lose control of it. This happen when someone was to deprive on one side, too much restriction, or intense emotion that the person don’t want to experience.

The overall scene is to focus on a working environment and to gain an insight on workers healthy eating habits. The board works as a daily planner where employees and workers could write their work information daily. At the same time they also motivates themselves regarding their healthy lifestyle. In order to sustain a healthier outcome, they need to archive a higher target which are the “Star icon”.
Step 1: Workers are required to place their name card on the board upon arriving without following any sequences.

Step 2: Choose an icon from the box provided and stick it onto the board under titled “target” for the whole week. Workers need to follow their “TARGET” once they have set it.









Step 3: Workers have to place their “star icon” at the end of the day based on their daily progress and outcome. Note that each star represents different points. Congratulation star -15, Moderate star - 10 and Satisfactory star- 5.



Step 4: By the end of the week, the overall points from the “star icon” will sum up and determine their achievement. Once they’ve know their overall score, user will pick their “Star QR Tag” from the box base on their result - to place on the board. Their achievement will lead them to scan a QR code to a webpage based on their overall points and category of the icon that they’ve chosen. To know their points, they have to sum up all the points from Monday to Friday then divided by 5 days.





Step 5: In their achievement section apps, there’s a short explanation regarding the target/aim on how they can improve to be better and achieve a higher score in the next round. This will eventually motivate them to follow a healthy habits footstep, to have a healthier lifestyle.


The Healthy Habits Apps is created to encourage and educate the users to have a healthy meals and lifestyle. Healthy Habits apps plays an important role in managing the user achievement and target. Basically the piece is an apps where user could scan the star QR tag achievement to have a better insight on their outcome. Regarding the apps, it shows that how user could improve to be better gradually and make a change in their life. Additionally, every icon indicates a motivation quotes and a brief explanation on their selected icon which they have chosen, in order that they could physiologically motivates themselves to be better next time. As a consequence, it is a form of motivation to change their bad habits to sustain a better outcome, a way to stimulates the users mindset.
Technology nowadays are really advance to the point that it influence users on their health outcomes. According to a study which conducted from the Institute of Human Data Science, it found that the use of health apps could reduce the overall health costs for both patients and providers in 2015. (Hall, n.d.) Currently, there are quite a number of health apps in the market. Survey found at around 97,000 Health Apps in Google play store and Apple apps. Every year the number are expected to increase at around 25%. As a result, technology bring positive effect on behaviour that health influence towards user. (Peng, Kanthawala, Yuan, Hussain, 2016)
