On the 6th of June, I’ve interviewed a close friend and she is currently studying in tertiary education. I’ve asked some question regarding the difficulties she is facing during her childhood education such as in primary / secondary school. She went to a government school and she was in science streams. Initially she was aiming to enter art streams after her PT3 exam, unfortunately she was being placed by her school to enter into science stream. Therefore, she does not have much choice but to go along with it.
One subject that she finds it difficult to cope was Physics because it was really difficult to understand. Not only that, she has to put a lot of effort to study especially “science subject” because the competition among other students were very high (she was in the top five class.) She will always need to compete with other classmate and mentioned that ‘if others can do it so does I’. This reflect on her challenges to even work harder. Nevertheless, through sacrifice and hard work she always aims for the best and find a solution to it.
One interesting point that I’ve find from her is that she did not give up in her studies easily no matter how many problems that she had faced. Most of the time she does independently and did not rely on other people. She gave her best and try to fit in the surrounding.

On the 7th of June, I've interviewed my neighbour and he went to the same high school as myself, SMK Kota Kemuning. Not only that, he was in the pure science class and he is a very smart students.
One issues he faced during his studies was peer pressure. As a result, he easily get influence by his friends that leads him to distraction when studying. His friends always influence him all the negative behaviour and activities such as smoking, skipping classes and disturbing other people. Even though he was in the top class he mentioned that some students have a really bad behaviour and attitude towards studying. He will be brain washes into listening to his peers advice rather than his parents. Therefore, by mixing around with the wrong peers it can cause a major conflict in an individual's life.
His exam marks and studies has dropped tremendously due to his negative attitude and behaviour. Not to mention, he rarely prioritise his studies and find it very difficult to concentrate in class. Soon after he realised his negative attitude and he begin to change his lifestyle and set a target to it. In conclusion, my photo-novel will be based on peer pressure.

On the 8th of June, I've interviewed my cousin and he is currently studying in a private secondary school. He study in English and communicate in English at home. Recently, he just learned Chinese language with a tutor at his home every week. I've ask some question regarding his issues that he is facing during his high school. To begin with, he mentioned that he always have difficulties in communicating with other students in mandarin. Every year his school will have a Carnival Day. Basically it is like having a get together where students are allocated stalls to sell and also some games will be played. When some students approach him in mandarin language he always have to rely on his Chinese speaking friends to help him to translate to english. As a consequence, this will lead him to have language barrier.
