Sketches

These were some of my sketches and idea development when planning for the GD Map design. Three sketches such as brain, light bulb and polygon shape. I drew the brain and light bulb to represent my creativity and imagination in designing, whereas the polygon shape of the honeycomb indicates the complexity sync that connects with one another to form a strong boundary just like my creativity and imagination that goes side by side.

Research moodboard & idea

Based on my references, I've find some of the picture were quite interesting and relatable to my topic as it has a concrete meaning behind it. Furthermore, it give me various idea and a click on how to design it.

Honeycomb picture

These were some of the best images which I’ve find it very interesting as I could use that to develop my design. It took me quite a long time to find a suitable images which I wanted. However, most of the images that I found online were pixelated and needed to be purchased as this GD Map project need to be in an A2 size.

Visual element

These were some of my initial honeycomb vector design. I’ve experiment and try various way in order to make it look realistic and outstanding. However, the design doesn’t turn out that nice. Thus, I’ve to proceed with the actual image to further developed.
