Among the few topic from the previous tutorial, I've chosen "Flowers" for Everything About One Thing Project. Most of my research and finding are based more on concept and theory about its killing idea.
The context of flowers I view it as a form of beauty and pride based on people's achievement and success (the path of pride). So why is it beauty? Flowers is always beautiful in every way no matter how people view it. Even a simple white rose can also looks mesmerising. Why is Pride? It is something that people are proud of. Flowers don't worry about how they bloom, they just open up and blossom itself. When it relate to us it means that no matter what issues and problems in life, there's always a way (solution) to it. "DON'T GIVE UP"
Furthermore, the context of BEAUTY can relate to various language of flowers. View as a form of other aspects such as flowers as poems, plays as form in theatre and mythology of flowers.
Poems:
Flowers view as a form of sentiment. Flowers represent different meaning and outcome. For instance, people express poems in a form of flower - Roses are red, violet are blue, whatever comes next, depends on you.
Plays:
Flowers view as a form of imagination. It can be used to relate to any idea of creativity. For example, William Spakespeare portrays the hidden meaning of flowers.
Mythology:
Flower view a s a form of expression. In the bible there's a verse mention about the St Joseph Lily. The word lily is Flower. Mostly it express in the form of parable and deeper meaning of it. Another interesting thing is about a church in Guadalupe, Mexico which the flowers that can't die due to some miracle happen before.
For my upcoming tutorial I were to look more in-dept regarding the content and layout of my magazine. Explore different ways and method on approaching the topic.
