Co-Exist : An Insight Into Archviz by Pixelstack (week 5)

A talk was given on the 20th May by a guest speakers on "An Insight Into Archviz by Pixelstack." Not only that, Jason (guest speakers) explained the terms of architectural visualisation and technical aspects. So what is architectural visualisation? It is a term that used to describe the presentation of the designs before they are built. This is broad in the strongest sense and can refer to basic sketches and 2D drawings, both of which still have value in modern architecture. On the other hand, architectural visualisation has reached a greater level of sophistication and has become much more advanced, employing the latest technological advancements to present 3D renderings and interactive virtual reality tours. Integration with Technology - Embracing Tech.

Augmented Reality is technology that enhances the ‘real world’ with a contextually relevant virtual overlay of images, data or holograms. In addition, Virtual Reality offers an immersive experience, taking users into a purely virtual world and can incorporate 3D audio to deepen the sense of realism. Augmented reality is the result of using technology to superimpose information - sounds, images and text - on the world we see. Picture the "Minority Report" or "Iron Man" style of interactivity. (Emspak, 2018.)

Virtual Reality is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds by simulating as many senses as possible such as vision, hearing, touch, even smell, the computer is transformed into a gatekeeper to this artificial world.
