Three aspects/key points that you find it useful and interesting.
Design is about people, it’s about connection hence if this is about people, design is also about diversity. Designers don’t create anything for themselves, but for the world, for other people that are getting more and more different in their daily basics. As a designer, I have to understand how the users will use the product, how they will think while deciding if they are going to use it, what kind of technology do they use, and what do they do with this technology. (Pesce, 2016)
The role of the designer is changing most of the time. It changes with the technology, business, and this is why designers need to understand about business as well. A designer as a problem solver, is someone who can understand the market and the users (people) needs. (Pesce, 2016)
Designers are a solving problems in a reality way. Product designer must have a great core problem solver and work closely with technology and businesses. There are four different types of design category such as Visual design - create concepts, artwork and layouts for digital projects and what is it look like, Interface design - process of making interfaces in software or computerised devices with a focus on looks or style, UX design - create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users and Product design - creating, and iterating products that solve users problems or address specific needs in a given market.
Two aspects of how it relates to your project development (any project)
The first aspects is when I designing a product, I haver to consider does it connect with the people and what are the ways they think about it. As a designers, I always have to make things useful and effective. Next, always have to find idea and brainstorming when designing a product. There are a few process such as understand, diverse, decide, prototype and validate. Therefore, by inventing something new and build it from scratch - product will be easier and efficient to use.
A summary of what is the film about.
To sum up, Design Disruptors is a documentary film by the InVision that explore the power of design in leading digital companies and products. Interviews in the documentary focus on leading designers from well known brands such as Twitter, Netflix, Airbnb, Spotify, Salesforce and others more. A documentary story that focus on some of the biggest names in tech and how the rise of design has revolutionised their industries with the concept of design disruption. Disruptive design is the idea of interrupting something which is maintaining a status quo. Creating the next big thing by toppling old industries or ideas with new, smart and agile technological approaches. Uber is often referenced as a prime example of a major disrupter by transforming the taxi industry by offering a great user experience for both customers and drivers.
